Private Hands-On POCUS for Family Medicine Training Course is intended for any medical professional involved with performing point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) examinations and provides participants a strong foundation to perform the core ultrasound applications as outlined in the AAFP/ACEP ultrasound practice guidelines. This private hands-on course is taught by leading emergency medicine and family medicine/primary care ultrasound experts that incorporates comprehensive online lectures and interactive case presentations with fifteen (15) months unlimited access, featuring two (2) days (14 hours) [dates of your choice] of 1:1 faculty to participant hands-on scanning with live models and phantoms during the two days scan-only workshops at our facility in St. Petersburg, FL. This private hands on course is specifically designed for physicians, sonographers and other medical professionals who need family medicine ultrasound training. Hands-on skills training includes abdominal, cardiac, trauma, thyroid, soft-tissue, MSK, DVT and ultrasound-guided procedural and central vascular access applications as well as transabdominal and transvaginal gynecological scan techniques. If 1st – 3rd trimester OB hands-on skills training is desired, contact us to discuss scheduling an onsite educational program at your facility.
For the best ultrasound education experience, completion of the online course prior to hands on scanning is recommended.

While we do not have any discounted rates at any beachfront hotels, We do recommend hotels on St. Pete Beach (15 min drive). Recommended properties include: Tradewinds resorts, Sirata Beach Resort, and the Don Cesar (as higher end properties).
